Bald
Knob Farmhouse has been in the Crouse Family since 1918
and Clarence was born there. It was first opened as a
vacation rental in 1989 and now serves also for personal
family reunions, birthday parties, showers and picnics.

Originally
located on Main Street in Sparta, Chestnut House was built
as a private home and later served as headquarters for
the Alleghany Arts Council. It was purchased by the Bradys
and moved to 68 Duncan Street to preserve part of the
town's architectural history. |
