Bobby Patterson and Willard Gayheart Perform

Come to the Alleghany County Library and enjoy the sweet harmonies of Bobby Patterson and Willard Gayheart. The two have been playing music together for 40 years in various bands, but discovered a whole new depth of artistry through duet singing at the Blue Ridge Music Center. Patterson plays banjo and guitar, and sometimes mandolin. Gayheart specializes in guitar. This is part of the Libraries Hometown and Heritage Program and is sponsored by the Alleghany Arts Council with partial funding by a NC Arts Council Grassroots Grant.
